At Charlotte’s Web Learning Center & Daycare, I strive to instill a love of learning in every child that enters our doors. I believe that preschool is the perfect time to start exploring the world around us and discovering new experiences. With that in mind, I am committed to providing your child with a nurturing environment where they can unlock their full potential. At our facility, your child will learn social skills, problem-solving, and independence through meaningful play-based experiences that will get them well-prepared to enter kindergarten.
My Story
I am Meena/Charlotte, the owner and founder of Charlotte’s Web Learning Center & Daycare. My passion for teaching began when I was in high school and would tutor kids in elementary school. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Home Science, followed by a Bachelor's in Education and then started teaching kids in elementary school in 1996. After teaching for more than seven years, I decided to get married, but my enthusiasm for teaching never stopped. I volunteered with SINDA, an organization in Singapore that partners with low income families providing their children the support they need with reading and school work. In 2006 I was blessed with my first son and a new venture began like in the words of Bryan McGill “Our children can be our Greatest Teachers, if we are humble enough to receive their lessons” In 2015, I heard the Lord calling me to work with preschoolers, and I switched to teaching preschoolers after completing my Certifications in Early Childhood Education. I worked as an assistant guide at a Montessori School and then as lead preschool teacher at play based Christian preschools.
